The body of the plane can withstand a nuclear blast from the ground and more cool stuff

this plane is really worth the price.

Dangote Considering Buying Arsenal FC

Arsenal Ownership Remains Wish for Richest African After Rebuff by Paul Wallace Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, said he still wants to buy English Premier League soccer team Arsenal even after he was rebuffed by its owners in 2010.

Nigeria’s Dangote, an Arsenal fan worth $15.7 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, discussed buying a stake in the club five years ago before talks with the owners fell through, he said. Since then his wealth has grown more than sevenfold.

“I still hope, one day at the right price, that I’ll buy the team,” Dangote, 58, said in an interview as he traveled on a plane owned by one of his companies between the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa and the Nigerian commercial hub of Lagos on May 1. “I might buy it, not at a ridiculous price but a price that the owners won’t want to resist. I know my strategy.”

Arsenal is one of England’s most successful clubs, having won 13 top flight league titles in the country, the most after Manchester United and Liverpool. Arsenal Holdings Plc., the owner, trades on the ICAP Securities & Derivatives Exchange, or ISDX, and is valued at 988 million pounds ($1.49 billion).

A successful bid would make Dangote the first African owner of a club in a league where billionaires including Russia’s Roman Abramovich, the owner of Chelsea, and Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan, who controls Manchester City, have acquired teams.

Stan Kroenke, worth $5.6 billion and owner of the National Football League’s St. Louis Rams, holds 67 percent of Arsenal, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Red & White Sec Ltd., controlled by Uzbek billionaire Alisher Usmanov and Farhad Moshiri, owns 30 percent.

Speaking at an event yesterday to mark her latest milestone, Misao-san said that 117 years didn't seem like such a long time. Asked for the secret of her longevity, she joked, "I wonder about that too!" Born on 5 th March 1898 in Tenma, she has previously said the key to a long life is eating sushi and getting at least eight hours sleep a night. Yesterday's birthday celebrations for her were televised across Japan, with Osaka government official Takehiro Ogura, presenting her with a big bouquet to mark the special day

Mrs Okawa eats three large meals a day and makes sure that she sleeps eight hours a night,’ Tomohito Okada, the head of the Kurenai retirement home where she lives, recently revealed. He added: ‘She insists that her favourite meal is sushi, particularly mackerel on vinegar-steamed rice, and she has it at least once every month.’ According to staff at the nursing home, she has slowed down in recent months and is having trouble hearing, but is in otherwise good health. Mrs Okawa took the title of world’s oldest living person in June 2013 following the death of Jiroemon Kimura - also from Japan – who passed away at the age of 116.

Misao-san married in 1919; her husband, Yukio, ran his own business in Kobe and together they had three children - two daughters and a son. After the passing of her husband in June 1931, she moved back to Osaka where she still resides, surrounded by her children, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren

As well holding the Guinness World Records title for oldest living person, Misao Okawa also belongs to an elite group - The supercentenarians. To qualify for membership to this exclusive club, there is just one criterion: being at least 110 years old. Reaching this age is an exceptional achievement, especially given the average life span for women in Japan is just under 85.9 years; outliving the national average by nearly 30 years is an remarkable feat. Although America is the country with the most centenarians (people aged 100 or over) in the world, there are an estimated 51,376 of them in Japan, with a staggering 44,842 of those being women. Misao has lived across three centuries, which have seen immense social and technological advances including the advent of motor vehicles, flight, mobile telephones, social networking sites and 6 UK Monarchs, 4 Emperors of Japan and 20 US Presidents. The oldest person ever to have lived is also female, Jeanne Calment of France, who lived to 122 years and 164 days.
